Gavan Iacono is an Australian who has lived and worked in Vietnam for the past 14 years. Since gaining his teaching qualification in 1998, he has had extensive experience teaching across a full spectrum of educational environments.

Gavan is a qualified UCLES examiner and, in 2001, completed a post-graduate diploma in education. He joined LLV as a trainer in November 2001, and moved rapidly through, from working in business development to becoming the general director of the company.

Gavan has an incisive working knowledge of both Australia and Vietnam, combining a rare blend of sound business sense and genuine academic integrity.

Having immersed himself in the Vietnamese working arena and culture for well over a decade, he has come to understand the specific challenges facing Vietnamese learners of English; including how the socio-economic realities of modern life, should also influence LLV's professional delivery to meet the requirements of all.
